Dear Friends,
The Annual General Meeting has just concluded and we were able to discuss various topics, including the handover of Avenue de la Mont Joye to the town hall, the issue of depth measurements, the problem with the TP02 index, and so on.
The board of directors has been expanded. The list of members will be updated on the website.
We would like to thank Mr Rams, the town hall’s finance officer, for attending the drinks reception that followed the AGM. Several of us were able to ask him questions regarding the ‘depths case’. We thank him for his insightful answers. He will keep us informed of progress on the ‘depths case’, and we will, of course, keep you updated on the latest developments.
We regret the low turnout at this meeting and extend our warmest thanks to all those who attended. We hope that next year we will have a larger turnout.
It is important to realise that the more of us there are, the more influence we will have with Mr Fontes and the town council. We note that relations with the new town council are good and cordial. Mr Rams remains available should the need arise, and Mr Casacci, who is a town councillor and a member of the Board of Directors, is also fully prepared to facilitate contact with the municipal team.
The TP02 index continues to rise, and we remain hopeful of meeting Mr Fontes to find out what he intends to do regarding our forthcoming harbour charges.
We hope that those of you who own a boat can make the most of these lovely summer days to enjoy some wonderful trips out to sea.
Please do not hesitate to contact us if you have any questions
With kind regards
The President of the Association and Board of Directors
