The Team's Message -December 2025
Dear Friends,
I would like to begin this editorial by wishing you a happy holiday season and hoping that Father Christmas was generous.
As we begin a new year, on behalf of the Board of Directors and the Association's Executive Committee, we wish you all the best for 2026. More specifically, we hope to finally reach a lasting and satisfactory agreement regarding TP02.
You have probably already received your port charges invoice, where you will see that SARL Port Croisade is giving us a 0.5% discount in order to stay within our request for a maximum increase of 2% per year. It is still too much, but it is better than nothing. Let us hope that future years will see a decrease in this TP02 index.
We were unable to meet with Mr Fontes this year, but we hope to see him next year to confirm the maximum 2% increase. You can count on our determination. We will, of course, keep you informed of further developments.
At the last municipal council meeting, the amicable agreement between Port Croisade and the town hall was ratified. Some light dredging is planned at the high points, but this does not pose any danger to boats as things stand. We are, of course, following the matter closely and will keep you informed.
The heavy rains at the end of December caused some damage, including one boat sinking and another whose stern was beginning to sink. The harbour master's office responded effectively.
As in previous years, we will normally organise a meeting in the Salle des Associations at the Pôle Constance in late February or early March to discuss various topics and enjoy a friendly drink together.

In rural China in the 1920s, Ju Dou is bought by Yang Jin-shan, the elderly owner of a dyeing factory who dreams of having a male heir. Because she tries to resist his advances, the young woman regularly suffers violent outbursts from her husband.
